In present day South East Asia, down dark alleys, in secret rooms, children are for sale. Alex Becker and his team are the last defense, leading his team on a raid of a known child trafficker only to discover the trafficker has escaped taking a seven-year-old girl and Alex’s wife captive. Parallel story lines intertwine and twists unfold against the backdrop of the dangerous world of human trafficking. Trade of Innocents is a story of struggle, life, hope and redemption.

“Very rarely do you find a film, a thriller no less, with such heart beating at its core. In Christopher Bessette’s unflinching look at modern day slavery, Mira Sorvino and Dermot Mulroney transport us to this dark world, but with a glimmer of hope. Trade of Innocents will break your heart.” -Nicki Richesin, The Huffington Post

“Shocking, Heartbreaking, Unforgettable!” -Stuart Lee, WNYX-TV

“This outstanding thriller with a very important message for the world, is the best I’ve seen in 2012!” -Amy R. Handler, Film Threat
